The workshop is on the Lenton industrial estate, NG9, two minutes off the A52 and ten from the city centre. Most of the cars we measure are local.
Send the reg and we come back with the figures for your exact engine and a fixed price.
No obligation. We price it before anything is touched.
A lot of what comes through the door from NG1 and NG2 barely gets warm. Short runs across the city mean a diesel never reaches the temperature it needs to burn off soot, so the filter fills, regeneration never completes, and the car ends up in limp mode on a dual carriageway.
That is a diagnostics job before it is a tuning job. We will tell you which one you have, and we would rather do the £95 diagnostic than sell you a £345 map that does not fix the fault underneath.

There are plenty of people within ten miles who will write a file for your car, and a fair few who will do it on your driveway. What they cannot do is show you what it made before and what it makes now, measured the same afternoon.
That is the whole reason to come to a unit rather than have somebody come to you. If nobody measures it, the figure is a claim.
The industrial estates towards Bilborough and Eastwood send us a steady run of Transits, Sprinters and Crafters. Almost none of that is about outright power — it is drivability and mpg, usually on vehicles doing 30,000 miles a year where a few per cent is real money.
For more than three or four vehicles it goes on a monthly account and we come to the yard rather than the other way round.
City centre and Meadows. Short journeys and a lot of cold running, which shows up as sooty diesels.
Lenton, Beeston and Chilwell. Our own patch — most walk-ins come from here.
Mapperley, Sherwood, Arnold. Steady mix of family diesels and hot hatches.
Bilborough, Eastwood, Kimberley. More vans than anywhere else in the city.
Clifton and West Bridgford. Longer commutes down the A453, so economy work.
The two roads most customers arrive on. Both drop you within minutes of the unit.
Unit 9, Lenton Industrial Estate, Lilac Grove, NG9 1PL. Two minutes off the A52, ten from the city centre. Park on the forecourt.
For a Stage 1, no — allow about two hours and wait in reception. Dyno work and Stage 2 need longer, and we will tell you exactly how long when you book.
Not on its own, and anybody who says otherwise is selling you something. Book the diagnostic first — if the fault is mechanical, a map will hide it for a fortnight and then it comes back worse.
It can. A manufacturer can decline a claim it decides is tuning related, and you must tell your insurer. Both are your call and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.
Yes, and that is most of the van work we do. More torque low down so the engine works less at motorway speed. On a diesel doing big miles it usually pays for itself.
Because you watch them being made. Before and after runs happen while you are here, and you take both printouts with you.
Software-only jobs we do at your address — driveway, office car park or yard. Anything that needs measuring comes to the unit, because a rolling road does not travel.
Tell us the job and we will say which one it is before you book.
Send the registration and what you want from the car. We come back with the figures for your exact engine and a fixed price, usually the same day.
