A harder calibration written around parts that remove a restriction. It is not Stage 1 with the volume turned up, and it only makes sense once the standard hardware is genuinely the limit.
Send the reg and we come back with the figures for your exact engine and a fixed price.
No obligation. We price it before anything is touched.
Stage 2 means hardware plus software. Typically an uprated intercooler, a less restrictive intake and an exhaust that lets the turbo breathe, then a file written around what those parts allow.
The order matters. The parts come first and the file is written to them, because a map written for hardware that is not fitted yet is a guess.
Until a car has been mapped and measured on standard hardware, nobody knows where its limit actually is. Two identical cars in different condition reach it at different points.
Doing Stage 1 first costs £345 and tells us whether Stage 2 is worth your money at all. A meaningful number of people stop there, happily, and we would rather that than sell parts nobody needed.
It is not a way to make a tired car quick. Everything Stage 2 does increases load, and load finds whatever was already marginal.
It is also not reversible in the way Stage 1 is. The software can go back; the intercooler is staying. If you are selling the car inside a year, this is the wrong spend.
The car is mapped and measured on standard hardware, so the restriction can be identified rather than assumed.
Intercooler, intake and exhaust as required, fitted here so we know exactly what is on the car.
A file developed against the fitted parts on the dyno, then heat-cycled on the road before you collect.
Six rows from our own records, all measured on the same dyno.

Your car is in the same database. Put the registration in and the calculator shows its figures.
Put the registration in. If we have had one of these on our dyno you will see what it actually made. If we have not, you will see the range that kind of engine usually gives, and we will say so.
Measured on our own dyno, standard hardware, same day.
Stage 2 depends entirely on which parts are on the car, so we will not publish a figure for it. Bring it in and we will measure what it makes first.
Every published figure came off our own four-wheel dyno. Vehicle details come from the DVSA record. Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
We insist on it. Until the car has been measured on standard hardware nobody knows where its limit is, and Stage 2 without that is guesswork with your money.
Yes, and it reduces the price accordingly. Tell us what you have before you book so the file can be written to it.
The software is. The parts are not — they stay on the car. If you are selling inside a year, Stage 1 is the better spend.
On a manual, often not. A clutch that was fine at standard torque frequently is not at Stage 2 levels, and we will tell you before rather than after.
On an automatic the torque limiter usually needs raising too, or the box simply pulls the extra back down. That is quoted separately.
Two visits. Parts fitting is a day, calibration is a half day, and they do not have to be consecutive.
Software-only jobs we do at your address — driveway, office car park or yard. Anything that needs measuring comes to the unit, because a rolling road does not travel.
Tell us the job and we will say which one it is before you book.
Send the registration and what you want from the car. We come back with the figures for your exact engine and a fixed price, usually the same day.
